Happy Thanksgiving!

This year I decided to stay in Oahu for Thanksgiving and help out my work because it is our busiest week of the year. It was an amazing process watching them make tons of turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, yams, and pumpkin pie. We sold about 160 of our large turkey dinners ($160 each) that serve 8 people and about 200 single dinners. There were just enough left overs for us to take home some food too.

We rented a refrigerated storage for the week which sat in our parking lot and slowly filled it with the Thanksgiving dinners.

Vegetable medley- we had about 4 coolers of these.

The maze of boxes. Each dinner came with 2 boxes filled with sides and a turkey.

Gravy!

The chefs assembling the single turkey dinners. These were $20 and served hot. So yummy!

These are some of the beautiful people I spent Thanksgiving with- Billie, Alexis, Donna, and Colleen

I love my managers Colleen and Keli-Rae!!
I missed my family in Kona but at least I got to spend it with my Oahu family. We closed at 5:30pm and I was able to have a peaceful dinner with my dad at my house. I'm glad I stayed here and learned how my work operates on Thanksgiving. It was a very smooth production thanks to all their organization and hard workers. Now I'm ready for Christmas!!

Wow, Carlen! That's a lot of food you served. I spent Thanksgiving with Loren and Grandma; we were invited to one of our friends' casual Thanksgiving party. Grandma seemed to enjoy eating turkey while she socialized with people. We enjoyed, too. I am looking forward to the end of this semester. Hope your semester is rounding off smoothly :)
