Camping at Malaekahana

Well I survived midterms and made my escape to North Shore. It was very beautiful and so relaxing. I didn't surf because it was small and junk but I sat on the beach a lot and read. Here are some pictures of the place I camped at.
The yurt I stayed in. It has electricity and can lock so I felt safe.
The skylight in the yurt. It was so cool because it was full moon when I was there and I would just watch the moon on it's path over the night and then in the morning the sun would gently wake me up.
I also really caught up on my sleep, sleeping 10 hours both nights!
It's really hard to take pictures of a circular house!

My meal the first night- a shrimp scampi plate from Giovanni's, chips and dip, Red Stripe, and a piece of Ted's chocolate haupia pie. Mmmmmm heaven!
The beach at Malaekahana
I am standing on the beach looking back at my yurt.
What a beautiful sight to wake up to!
Me!
Well thanks for looking at my pictures. I think I need to have a retreat more often- it's a great way to unwind for the bustle of life!
