This is one of my favorite people to surf with- Colleen! Today I had my morning class and afterwards I called her to see if she was free. She works all the time so it is rare that we get a chance to go together. She said, "Sure!". I snapped this picture before we paddled out to perfect Tonggs. There was no wind, no crowd, and nice shoulder-high sets rolling in. We were stoked!! I wish I had a camera out there with us so I could show the beautiful ocean and the grace of Colleen surfing.
I treasured this session so much because I am pretty sure it's the last big swell for our side of the island for the season and after this week, Wednesdays are when I will be volunteering at Queens Medical Center. Yesterday I also surfed Queens in Waikiki twice because my classes were cancelled and it was BIG! It was a little scary but I had a lot of fun, big rides. My muscles are sore!
After surfing Colleen and I "had" to go to a wine tasting for our work. We felt like spoiled princesses getting to surf and eat and drink wine all day. I really enjoyed this day and look forward to surfing with Colleen again.

You are one of my favorite people too sweetie-pie. You rock!! I love seeing your style and stoke everytime we surf. Very few people are as beautiful inside as they are outside but you are one of the blessed.
