As most of you know, the UH Warriors made it to the Sugar Bowl in Louisiana. This is HUGE for our state and college, and also nationally. This may be the first and last time this ever happens. I am fortunate enough to be going! This is my (very large!) birthday present from my dad. My roomate knew someone who were season ticket holders so he asked them to get him 4 tickets on the first day they went on sale. Now it is the 5th and the tickets are sold out completely. My dad was able to book flights for us which are hard to come by, having us make 3 stops and driving, but we'll get there!
This will be fun because I have never been to Louisiana, I will be there for New Years, UH is playing against a top team in the country (Georgia), and my roomate will be there to show me around. It will be quite an experience I will be sure to blog about! Go Warriors!
