I came back to Oahu to work for New Years Eve- they were happy to have me back! I am still sick though so it was exhausting. Afterwards I took a nap and unpacked which I love to do (I'm not joking!). To bring in the new year Matt and I had dinner at the new Cajun restaurant near my house along with a bottle of champagne. We lit fireworks and watched the firework shows in Waikiki from the corner of my street. Today we had Japanese food for brunch for good luck. I have spent the rest of the day cleaning and rearranging my room.

I also got a new phone for 2009! It was time for an upgrade.
2009 is a big year for me- full of unknowns and possibilities. I look forward to my last semester at UH, becoming wiser, and most of all sleeping in my clean bed! I want to kick this sickness before my birthday!!
